Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment including loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and dozers by testing mechanical products, replacing worn parts, and operating heavy machinery with diagnostic tools. Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools while examining components for damage with precision gauges. Schedule maintenance, keep service records, and interpret technical drawings and manuals to solve problems. Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lock-out-tag-out and confined space entry, while wearing appropriate PPE. Work shifts as required to support Amrize's Aggregate Division operations across Denver, CO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heavy Equipment Operator/ Mechanic experience: 2-3 years minimum
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to lift/carry materials of 10-60 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces without limitations
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
- Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
