Job Summary
Complete janitorial tasks, preventative maintenance, repairs, and apartment turnovers to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hazard-free environment. Perform repairs on painting, carpentry, wall, plumbing, and electrical systems while maintaining grounds, common areas, and trash pickup. Clean apartments during turnover, set up conference and community spaces, and monitor the maintenance budget. Provide on-call service and respond to emergencies as required, advising the Property Manager on property condition and work order progress. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and monitor site vendor performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years in skilled apartment maintenance work
- Take directions from the supervisor
- Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions in the English language
- Work in a collaborative manner, as a part of the site team
- Flexible to change work schedules
- Understand and commit to the mission and values of Mutual Housing
- Wear a Mutual Housing Management uniform at all times when on duty
- Learn how to input maintenance work orders and other information into computer programs
