Job Summary
Floating Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining multiple properties in the Los Angeles region, including painting vacant units for rent-ready condition, upkeep of common areas and models, inventory management for supplies, completing weekly unit turns and service requests, following preventive maintenance programs, and supporting safety inspections. Must have strong customer service orientation, basic to intermediate knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and related trade skills, plus ability to work outdoors in variable conditions and to lift up to 100 pounds. Full-time role with on-site work in Long Beach, CA, requiring on-call availability and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade required
- Prior renovation experience is preferred
- Education: No specific level of education is required (English literacy required for safety and productivity)
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to safely use tools and general maintenance equipment
- Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
