Job Summary
Diagnose and repair resident service requests, including appliance failures, while executing preventative maintenance and "make-ready" processes for new move-ins. Manage inventory, track supplies, and coordinate vendor contracts to ensure property grounds, common areas, and amenities remain clean and functional. Complete all documentation for service requests and inspections, adhering to safety standards and code requirements. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential travel to other properties. Requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Previous experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing
- High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
- Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable
- Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet)
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking 'call' during evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
