Job Summary
As a Floating Maintenance Technician II, you will complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner, conduct preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for occupancy. Your role includes performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and appliance repairs, ensuring the community is clean and free from debris, and maintaining safety standards. Experience in building maintenance and skilled trades is required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and certifications such as EPA-CFC and EPA-LBP are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable experience
- EPA-CFC Certification (preferred)
- EPA-LBP certification (required for any property older than 1978)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems, or similar (i.e. commercial retail or other residential)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to solve problems and multi-task
