Job Summary
Conduct apartment tours and screen prospective residents while communicating community benefits via phone, in-person, and written channels. Assist current residents with requests and maintain detailed records using Entrata property management software. Uphold Fair Housing regulations and foster professional relationships with the Property Manager and site team. Lead tours of units across multiple locations, requiring the ability to walk properties and lift objects up to 25 lbs. Work Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed, utilizing a personal vehicle and valid New York State driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- previous related experience as a leasing agent or assistant manager at an apartment community
- previous relevant experience as a leasing agent at an apartment community
- strong previous experience in leasing
- strong previous experience in customer service
- strong previous experience in working in an office
- Excellent customer service skills
- sales skills
- problem-solving skills
- Professional use of verbal and written communications
- Detail-oriented
- ability to accurately prepare paperwork and reports
- Cannot be a resident of a Sunrise-managed apartment community
- willingness to transfer their license to Sunrise Management & Consulting
- valid New York State driver's license
- own vehicle
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs.
