Floating Lead Service Technician

Job Summary
Ensure REAC Ready standards and physical safety across assigned sites by inspecting grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions. Oversee general maintenance repairs, unit make-ready, and construction projects while managing the maintenance shop and adhering to safety protocols. Supervise and train maintenance staff, schedule activities, and monitor project progress to meet budgeted financial goals and expedite work completion. Respond to on-call emergencies and after-hours requests as required. Travel up to 75% of the time and work in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- 3+ years of multi-family maintenance experience or at least 3+ years of commercial maintenance experience
- EPA Sec 608 Certification - either a Type I (small appliances) plus Type II (AC's), or Type Universal
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to move through the community and maneuver around equipment
- Ability to climb ladders for repairs
- Must be willing to be on-call
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow
- Travel up to 75%
