Job Summary
Conduct janitorial duties and unskilled maintenance across Propel Montour and Northside campuses, including wiping, sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing, vacuuming, polishing, and waxing floors. Clean windows, woodwork, furniture, and equipment; maintain rest-room facilities with supplies; collect and dispose of trash. Perform outside tasks such as cleaning walks, mowing lawns, and snow/ice removal. Lift up to 50 pounds and follow instructions regarding chemicals. Report to the Director of Facilities and work year-round at $18/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be 18 or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform strenuous manual labor tasks
- Ability to follow instructions concerning various chemicals
- Ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or simple written instructions
- Ability to function independently, with Supervisor available to answer questions
- General knowledge of housekeeping, tools, equipment and supplies
