Floating Assistant Teacher

Provide substitute coverage when teachers are out sick, on breaks, or in need of assistance throughout the day. Assist classroom teachers with opening and closing routines, including cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing materials for lessons. Support daily activities by engaging students in free play, supervising outdoor time, helping with diapering and naptime, and managing snack and lunch periods. Maintain classroom and facility cleanliness, including staff areas, lobbies, and bathrooms, while adhering to the daily schedule. Encourage child participation through age-appropriate interactive activities and establish positive relationships with students and parents. Maintain professional development hours and attend monthly staff meetings.
