Job Summary
Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports using Yardi or similar software. Complete bank deposits, account reconciliations, and lease apartments while responding promptly to resident questions and service issues. Mentor leasing team members, assist with marketing, and collaborate with the Community Manager on property operations across multiple San Diego region communities. Requires valid driver's license, one year of leasing or property management experience, and ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in leadership and supervising a staff
- Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong math and accounting skills
- Understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, accounting information, etc.)
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions
- Strong customer focused attitude
