Job Summary
Greet incoming and outgoing customers, park and retrieve vehicles, and manage EV charging stations while operating company and customer vehicles safely. Provide directions, assist with luggage and wheelchairs, and handle traffic control during peak volume periods. Perform hourly and daily key audits, update valet and EV logs, and maintain a clean station environment. Tactfully manage difficult customer situations and travel to different account locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must have 3 years of driving experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license with no accidents or 2-point driving infractions in the last 5 years
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must possess a cell phone and email account and a reliable means of transportation to work
- Be flexible with work shifts/hours to service peak volume periods, vacated shifts and other emergency situations
- Be able to travel to different accounts without much notice
- Be willing and able to travel to different account locations to perform valet duties
- Must be punctual
- Have a good attendance record
- Regularly get in and out of vehicles multiple times per day
- Regularly stand for extended periods of time
- Regularly walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Regularly talk and listen up to 8 hours a day
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to see differences in widths and lengths of lines such as those on graphs
- Occasionally climb stairs and or use an elevator
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to run, stand for a long period of time and be outdoors for several hours at a time
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to report data and execute other duties with minimal direction
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some customer service/public relations experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to communicate in a positive manner with co-workers, customers and vendors at all times
- Work effectively on a team and independently to resolve customer issues
- Maintain EV operations
- Maintain Vehicle Driving Operations
- Recommend procedures that increase efficiency and maximize throughput for charging
- Provide hands-on EV training as needed
- Accommodate a flexible work schedule, including different times and locations
