Job Summary
Floater Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to support Suffolk and Nassau county clinics; travel between clinics within a defined market; perform lower extremity venous duplex ultrasound evaluations, maintain scanning protocols, communicate preliminary findings to physicians, document findings in the EMR, and support daily patient flow with physicians and support staff. Schedule is Monday–Friday with no overnight shifts or weekends; requires travel across multiple clinic locations and adaptability to varying workflows while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Active RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or ARRT certification required
- Minimum of one year of hands-on vascular ultrasound scanning experience required
- Completion of an accredited allied health, diagnostic medical sonography, or vascular ultrasound program preferred
