Floater

Provide lunch, morning, and afternoon breaks to teaching staff when they must leave the classroom while maintaining child/teacher ratios. Assist in implementing balanced activities, supervise children during play and toileting, and handle diapering and clothing changes. Support the teacher with record keeping, playground supervision, mealtime, and story time. Perform laundry duties and maintain classroom cleanliness by sweeping, disinfecting, and replenishing supplies. Prepare children for bus rides and pickup. Communicate positively with staff, parents, and children, and attend required meetings and training. Foster understanding of Head Start mission and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
