Job Summary
Work with site staff at after school programs throughout Lynwood by assisting Lead Instructors with teaching STEAM lessons using the proprietary curriculum and substituting for them as necessary. Teach students in grades K-8 five days a week, covering topics like digital art, computer science, engineering, and robotics. Maintain availability to start training and working immediately for the entire 2026-2027 school year, with guaranteed hours from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This role supports codeCampus's mission to help children develop a positive relationship with STEAM while preparing them for future careers.
Required Qualifications
- Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start working immediately
- Availability to work for the entire 2026-2027 school year
- Available 5 days a week from approximately 3:00PM - 6:00PM hours/week
- Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
- Exceptional communication skills
- Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance in your name
- Willing to go through our professional development training program
