Job Summary
Lead and inspire students in soccer and sports-related activities, teaching fundamentals from basic to advanced levels while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Implement tailored BAM! Sports Programs to suit student interests and skill levels, ensuring high-quality education and mentorship. Serve as a substitute instructor at various program locations as needed. Assist with program inventory, preparation, and other operational tasks when not actively teaching. Fall Session: Starting September 21, 2026, Mondays through Thursdays between 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM PST. Wage: $29.00/hour. Part-time role requiring reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in soccer
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring
- At least two years of college coursework (48 semester units), an associate's degree or higher, or proof of certification through a local assessment that meets the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act
- Excellent class management skills
- The ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8
- Reliable transportation
- A valid driver's license or State ID
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations
- Availability: Fall Session: Starting September 21, 2026, Mondays through Thursdays between 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM PST
