Job Summary
Operate front-end equipment including the HOBE Saw, Expanding, Femco Saw, and Trim Saw while maintaining accurate inventory for Hobe and Nomex materials. Use measuring tools like micrometers and calipers to determine dimensions for expanded honeycomb, and apply proper handling techniques and clean glove protocols. Function as a capable forklift operator, supporting team efforts and production orders by performing any tasks deemed necessary by supervisors or customer requirements. Maintain compliance with the Actively Caring Safety Program and Quality Management System while utilizing handheld scanners and inventory control systems. Requires forklift certification, Quality Delegate status, and basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
- Minimum of six months experience
- Must follow all safety guidelines and proper handling techniques
- Must be a capable forklift operator
- Must have a Forklift Certification or be able to obtain the forklift certification
- Possess good hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination
- Basic computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in manufacturing
- Experience working with handheld scanners
- interacting with MRP or inventory control systems
- Must be an active Quality Delegate or be able to pass the requirement to be a Quality Delegate
