Job Summary
Inspect restrooms, disinfect high-touch areas, and maintain overall cleanliness while receiving and completing assigned work orders. Respond promptly to management requests and adjust schedules based on client needs or staffing changes. Clean common areas, remove trash, address spills, and scrub scuff marks from walls and furniture. Vacuum carpets in detail, maintain organized storage closets, and ensure cleaning tools and equipment function properly. Cover floors when employees call off, clean stairwells, signage, elevators, and escalators, and assist with miscellaneous projects like window washing. Maintain clear communication with the Account Supervisor or Account Manager. This part-time, non-exempt role requires flexible availability for day and night shifts across the Jackson, MS area.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation in order to work at various locations within the Jackson, MS area
- Must have flexible availability to pick up shifts day and night
- Must be organized
- Must be dedicated
- Must be able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to lift items of up to 25 lbs while moving around and perform other physical duties (i.e., climb ladder, lifting, bending)
- Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking
