Job Summary
Operate and support manufacturing tasks in the department for cabinet parts and related wood products. Learn product details (door styles, face frames, moldings) and wood types (Maple, Hickory, Cherry, Oak, MDF, Particleboard). Read paperwork, build tickets, and product labels as needed. Follow safety guidelines and work processes; interpret instructions and temporarily cover positions or pick up shifts as needed. Must be proficient with a tape measure, able to work in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, and collaborate with a team while maintaining communication. Education/experience requirement includes High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of equivalent experience; demonstrates planning, prioritizing, and time-management skills. Additional duties may be assigned by supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of equivalent experience
- Proficient in reading a tape measure
- Knowledge of all jobs in the work area
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who works well under pressure and can follow daily work assignments
- Team oriented with strong communication skills
