Job Summary
Floater Chef responsible for preparing, cooking, baking, serving, delivering and supporting TTUSD school meal programs; includes school-site production, food delivery driving, and potential summer feeding programs, catering and contracted services. Collaborates with team to plan and execute department-wide catering and events; conducts on-site review of production, safety and sanitation to ensure compliance with regulations; develops recipes including costing and presentation; trains Sous Chefs/Substitutes; assists in menu establishment and food utilization standards; supports overall production and on-site operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- Experience: Job-related experience is required
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required Upon Job Offer: TB Test Fingerprints/Livescan
- Letter(s) of Recommendation-Submit up to 3
- Proof of HS Graduation (or proof of college degree)
