Floater Assistant Preschool Teacher

Maintain a child-centered curriculum and learning environment for 3-5 year-olds in a Head Start classroom, ensuring positive social interaction and active engagement. Address challenging behaviors by observing causes, implementing preventive measures, teaching new social and communication skills, and partnering with families to support children at home. Use observations and anecdotal notes to document progress and individualize the curriculum. Work collaboratively with the Preschool Teacher to ensure successful classroom operations. This role begins August 2026 at $16.50 per hour and requires CDA credentials or enrollment in a relevant degree program.
