Job Summary
Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal customers, resolving complaints or referring them to Branch Management as needed. Proactively generate new deposit accounts, loan applications, and investment referrals by uncovering customer needs and making appropriate recommendations. Process all teller transactions, wire requests, and overdrafts within authority limits while maintaining compliance with CIP, BSA, and AML requirements. Manage branch operations in the absence of Branch Management, including opening and closing duties, and assist with staff coaching and weekly meetings. Lead in team environments to achieve quarterly operational and sales goals, while meeting attendance requirements for weekends and extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years previous relevant customer service and/or sales experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively while interacting with internal and external customers in person, on the telephone or in writing
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to speak in small groups or one on one
- Proficient in routine letters and customer correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out functions furnished in written form or oral form
- Ability to perform a variety of duties without loss of efficiency or composure
- Ability to multitask as well as to perform repetitive work according to set procedures and meet deadlines
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Be task oriented, organized and work well in team environment
- Must have the ability to listen well and follow instructions
- Must have the ability to receive guidance and supervision
- Must follow work rules and procedures
- Required to work weekends
- Required to work extended hours
- Regular, reliable attendance is critical
