Job Summary
Provide prompt, courteous service to all customers by greeting lobby visitors, resolving complaints, and using proper telephone etiquette. Proactively solicit new business by offering deposit solutions, identifying needs, and making recommendations to reach profitability goals. Develop new account relationships by opening consumer accounts, accepting credit card applications, and processing domestic wire requests within authority limits. Complete all customer information and account maintenance tasks while assisting with branch operations such as ATM balancing and night drop processing. Adhere to weekly staff schedules and CIP, BSA, AML, and OFAC compliance requirements. Meet with supervisors to discuss service, sales performance, and employee development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous relevant customer service and/or sales experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively while interacting with internal and external customers in person, on the telephone or in writing
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to speak in small groups or one on one
- Proficient in routine letters and customer correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out functions furnished in written form or oral form
- Ability to perform a variety of duties without loss of efficiency or composure
- Ability to multitask as well as to perform repetitive work according to set procedures and meet deadlines
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Task oriented
- Organized
- Ability to work well in team environment
- Must have the ability to listen well and follow instructions
