Job Summary
Receives and processes requests for medical record copies within required timeframes, prepares/scans/indexes patient documents for electronic health records, analyzes records for deficiencies, locates/ tracks legacy records, and coordinates merges of medical records across systems and charts to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with policies and regulations. Requires HS Diploma/GED, ~2 years relevant experience, and knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (TJC, CMIA, COP, Title 22, AAAHC, IMQ) with strong attention to document imaging, records management, and communication.
