Job Summary
Staff Nurse (RN/LPN) in outpatient primary care performing clinical care, patient intake, medication administration, wound care, injections, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and care coordination. Responsibilities include monitoring patients with acute and chronic conditions, patient education, documentation in EHR, coordinating referrals and follow-up, and collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff. Requires MA RN or LPN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of ambulatory office experience preferred; bilingual in Spanish/Portuguese a plus; evening shifts may be required; ability to work in a fast-paced clinic; commitment to CHC values and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse License or Licensed Practical Nurse License (Massachusetts)
- Ambulatory medical office experience preferred (1 year)
- AHA BLS Health Care Provider certification or equivalent
- English communication skills; Spanish/Portuguese a plus
- Ability to work at least one evening per week
- Computer skills for accurate data entry
- Demonstrated interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced outpatient setting
- Maintain licensure and ongoing education
