Job Summary
Provide enthusiastic, professional, quality, prompt, and courteous service to members and prospective members across in-person, video conference, drive-thru, and telephonic channels. Process a variety of transactions while maintaining control of cash and negotiable instruments in accordance with policies and regulatory laws. Engage members through consultative conversations to uncover financial needs, recommend products, and meet sales goals. Review deposits for fraud and assess interactions for impersonation to mitigate losses. Perform duties as a Branch Reservist handling incoming requests for the Member Service Center. Assist with account openings, updates, and closings, and prepare teller reports. Maintain the ability to train and work at any branch within the Schertz/New Braunfels/Seguin region depending on business need.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Six months of work experience
- Attendance and promptness
- Must be able to work a flexible Monday through Saturday schedule
- Must be able to cover staffing at any location within the respective region if a business need arises including branch transfers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems, make timely and informed decisions, and apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Proficient in utilizing PC, software and other office equipment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Good vision (correctable), hearing, and manual dexterity
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to speak clearly
