Job Summary
The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises patient care using the nursing process; accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of tasks in care delivery; provides medications and treatments safely; documents nursing processes concisely; collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure smooth transitions of care; educates patients and families from admission to discharge; ensures FMC policies are followed and that equipment and supplies are available for patient care; physical requirements include lifting/handling as described. Requires an accredited nursing program credential (Diploma, ADN, or BSN), Ohio nursing license, and CPR.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma in Nursing, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing)
- Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio
- CPR required
- Previous nursing experience preferred
