Job Summary
Coordinate patient and family care under physician and RN direction while identifying specific needs and contributing to individualized interdisciplinary plans of care. Utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize comfort and quality of life, ensuring complete satisfaction by promptly addressing all concerns. Maintain utmost confidentiality and deliver personalized, sincere service as a Registered Nurse licensed in Florida, with preferred BSN and hospice certification. Work PRN shifts 8:30am to 5pm with weekend availability, providing compassionate, community-based care to those facing advanced illness. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Hospice certification preferred
- One year in public health, home nursing care, oncology nursing, medical/surgical nursing, geriatric nursing or Hospice nursing preferred
- Understanding of and ability to apply characteristics of Hospice Nursing: case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, teaching skills, thanatology skills and needs
- Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus
