Job Summary
Part-time Float Production Laborer in a food production facility. Responsibilities include operating and tooling changeover of floor slicer, hand slicer, dressing packaging machine, chopper/shredder, dressing mixer, and dish machine; preparing raw materials; dressing and hoagie/pizza production; weighing, mixing, and packaging; rotating through processing and packaging machines; stocking, inventory monitoring, and documenting as required. Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday mornings starting as early as 4 AM. Must be able to lift 60 pounds occasionally, stand for up to four hours, and work at a fast pace. Requires basic math, ability to read a digital scale, and strong manual dexterity. Experience in food service or deli environments is encouraged; Serve Safe Certification and OSHA/food safety training preferred. Wage: $15.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must complete OSHA and food safety training
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds occasionally
- Able to stand up to four hours at a time
- Food service experience and meat slicing experience preferred
- Serve Safe Certification preferred
