Job Summary
Responsible for providing and ensuring quality nursing care to patients in Imaging Services as part of the PICC team. Functions include applying the nursing process to identify patient needs, planning and implementing interventions, and documenting/evaluating patient care outcomes. Requires independent practice within policies and standards, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with DI staff, nursing administration, physicians, patients and families. Emphasis on IV therapy expertise (including central venous devices), PICC line procedures, and experience with pediatric and adult catheter procedures. Preferred BSN; two years of hospital nursing experience; radiology/IV/pediatric/CCU/ER experience encouraged; CRN certification encouraged; active Washington RN license; ARNA membership preferred.
