Job Summary
Provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for patients across neonatal to geriatric populations. Monitor and wean Oxygen Therapy and Artificial ventilation; draw and report Arterial Blood Gases and EKGs; deliver intermittent therapy; assist with artificial airway changes; perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures; document clinical information; educate patients and healthcare team on procedures and treatment plans; perform diagnostic procedures; adapt patient care to diverse populations; comply with policies and regulatory standards; work in patient care areas with exposure to blood and bodily fluids; maintain compliance with Compliance & Privacy Program and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy
- Current license as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire
