Float Pool Nursing - RN - Mercy Hospital South

Provide patient care across multiple units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, and Oncology. Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability within the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model. Utilize the nursing process to deliver services consistent with state Nurse Practice Act and Mercy Service Standards. Perform duties requiring lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and varied physical movements. Work flexible 12-hour or 8-hour evening shifts with tiered differentials for specialty units. Gain versatility in diagnoses and hospital operations to reduce burnout and enhance patient focus.
