Job Summary
Provide patient care across multiple units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, and Oncology while coordinating with other departments. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model, State Nurse Practice Act, and established guidelines. Utilize the nursing process to deliver care consistent with the Sisters of Mercy philosophy and co-worker code of conduct. This role offers flexible scheduling options including 12-hour days (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM) and 8-hour evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM). Eligible candidates receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of bedside RN experience
- Current RN license in the state
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
