Job Summary
Provide patient care across multiple units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, and Oncology. Coordinate care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients and confidentiality. Utilize the nursing process to deliver services consistent with established guidelines and the Mercy Service Standards. Perform duties requiring lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and physical movement to meet patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of bedside RN experience
- Current RN license in the state
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
