Job Summary
Provide patient care across multiple units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, Emergency, Behavioral Health, and Oncology. Utilize the nursing process to maintain professional accountability, coordinate care with other departments, and ensure patient confidentiality. Perform duties consistent with the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model, state Nurse Practice Act, and established guidelines. Schedule includes 12-hour shifts (7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM) or 8-hour evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM). Eligible RNs may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of bedside RN experience
- Current RN license in the state
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
