Float Pool LVN - Elm CHC

Perform patient care functions as prescribed by provider following established protocols, policies, and procedures within your scope of education, training, and responsibilities. Assist medical personnel with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams while assessing and monitoring patients' conditions to notify the provider for disposition. Prepare and administer medications as directed by provider orders or standing orders, and if state certified, initiate and maintain intravenous solutions following established protocols. Maintain equipment and supplies, apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control, and monitor patient flow to assign or direct other personnel as needed. Document pertinent patient information, assessments, and nursing procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality. As a Float Pool LVN, you will cover multiple sites within the regional area as assigned. Current California Vocational Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification are required.
