Float Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Perform accurate data entry of patient information, process billing and payments, and prepare specimens for testing. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service and handling administrative duties. Travel to additional sites as needed. Work Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, adhering to a 7 on/7 off schedule where eligible. This role offers a quarterly bonus through the PST Incentive Plan and an additional $2.00/hr float incentive with mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Be at least 21 years' old
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
