Float Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and paternity tests, and process billing information. Enter patient data accurately, prepare specimens for analysis, and maintain patient logs while providing superior customer service. Travel to additional sites as needed to support float coverage across clinics. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. This role offers variety and rapid skill development within a global leader in diagnostics, with opportunities for growth and participation in performance-based incentive plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- At least 21 years' old
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
