Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and paternity tests, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information, collect payments, prepare specimens for analysis, and maintain patient logs while providing superior customer service. Travel to additional sites as needed and complete administrative duties. Requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, valid driver's license, and clean driving record. Schedule includes Monday through Friday 8am–5pm with rotating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- At least 21 years' old
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
