Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients while traveling between Toledo Clinic Laboratories and satellite locations as needed. Obtain proper specimens, label them accurately, and instruct patients on collection procedures. Register patients, scan ABN and billing documentation, and adhere strictly to HIPAA policies and OSHA safety standards. Process specimens using a centrifuge, ensuring STAT samples are handled correctly. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and complete all tasks within established timeframes. Requires one to two years of phlebotomy experience and a phlebotomy diploma from an accredited school.
Required Qualifications
- Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.
- One to two years of phlebotomist experience.
- Will be required to travel to various locations.
- Phlebotomy diploma from an accredited school.
