Job Summary
Float Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services across multiple locations, ensuring accurate dispensing and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include counseling patients on medications and side effects, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize outcomes, supervising technicians, managing inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, staying current with pharmacy laws, and conducting health screenings and vaccinations as needed. The role requires willingness to travel up to 100 miles within the assigned region and to support pharmacy initiatives while delivering education on health and wellness to staff and patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school
- Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the State of Wisconsin
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in diverse environments
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and pharmacy software systems like PioneerRX
