Job Summary
Float Personal Banker Associate I provides excellent customer care for daily transactions, addresses inquiries, and resolves problems in accordance with Fifth Third Bank policies; develops rapport with customers, uncovers banking needs, and refers customers to business partners for selling and cross-selling bank products and services. The role travels to various Financial Centers within the market, maintains knowledge of retail policies and procedures, adheres to risk and ethics guidelines, and participates in daily huddles and staff meetings while aiming to exceed sales referrals. Strong cash-handling capability, professional appearance, and effective communication are required. SAFE Act registration via NMLS is required at the time of employment. Location listed: Barberton, OH (travel required).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Extensive cash handling experience
- Ability to interact confidently with the public and present a professional image
- Read and write well in English (verbal and written communication)
- Minimum of 2 years CSR experience
- SAFE Act registration at time of employment via NMLS
- Ability to take initiative, use sound judgment, and work in a team environment
- Flexibility in scheduling
