Float Patient Representative - Full Time

Job Summary

Greets, acknowledges, and closes all customer needs professionally while managing samples, forms, scripts, and triage sheets. Schedules, coordinates, and reschedules patient appointments across offices, outpatient procedures, hospitals, and medical facilities. Answers incoming calls, directs patients to billing inquiries, and maintains provider and physician on-call schedules. Keeps logs, attends required meetings, and manages office supply inventory. Follows reception, appointment preparation, demographic data entry, and check-out processes for all clinical areas. Adheres to HIPAA guidelines and insurance processes for eligibility verification and managed care.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Flexibility with schedule and arrival times
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid N.C. Driver's License

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Medical Office Administration
  • BLS/CPR Certified
