Job Summary
Float Patient Care Coordinator provides administrative support for clinics/sites, including checking patients in and out, scheduling of appointments, handling high volumes of calls, and other duties, with responsibility to float to Leominster, Worcester, Holden, Auburn, Webster and Shrewsbury sites. Responsibilities include screening patient inquiries (phone/MyChart), adhering to service-line booking guidelines, processing forms/letters/renewals/referrals, updating patient records in the EMR, resolving issues with patients, de-escalation, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, and participating in meetings. Requires excellent customer service, ability to work with physicians and staff, and proficient use of the EMR (Epic). Hours are full-time, 38.75 per week, with a schedule that may vary by site; candidate must maintain dependable attendance and adapt to a remote-enabled work environment as required by team needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service, healthcare, and/or administrative experience
- 1+ years of experience with Epic EMR software
- Ability to float to Leominster, Worcester, Holden, Auburn, Webster and Shrewsbury sites
- Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
