Float Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Act as Paramedic team leader to manage the scene and unit. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. This full-time role requires Kansas and Missouri Paramedic certifications, BLS and ACLS, and a compliant driving record.
