Float Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance. Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. This full-time position offers a salary of $57,200 to $69,212 annually and requires Kansas and Missouri Paramedic certifications, a valid driver's license, and completion of BLS and ACLS training.
