Float Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance for 911 responses while acting as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Work collaboratively with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Full-time position with salary ranging from $57,200 to $69,212 annually. Requires Kansas and Missouri Paramedic certifications, BLS, and ACLS.
