Float Paramedic

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while acting as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance. Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. This full-time position offers a salary of $57,200 to $69,212 annually and requires Kansas and Missouri Paramedic certifications, a state driver's license, and compliance with BLS and ACLS.
