Job Summary
Float Packager & Curing Operator responsible for packaging and curing operations, including weighing, labeling, ensuring print quality, and maintaining product quality in a cheese-manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating conveyors and packers, handling cheese for curing, inspecting for foreign material, clearing jams in the crumbler, stacking and labeling products, loading cases and pallets, maintaining accurate counts, monitoring aging, supporting extrusion and cutting processes, performing sanitation, and upholding food-safety and safety protocols. Requires attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and adherence to quality standards. Starting pay is $22.35 per hour with weekend premium eligibility; shift is 1st shift (5:30 am–1:00 pm or 6:00 am–2:30 pm depending on department). Education: high school degree preferred. Experience: 2+ years in a food industry setting preferred.
