Job Summary
Float Medical Assistant role supporting multiple CenterWell Primary Care clinics in the Phoenix metro area. Responsibilities include administrative duties in addition to direct patient care: discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, performing phlebotomy, collecting specimens, conducting screening tests, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining exam rooms. Documents in electronic records and collaborates with providers within certification limits. Requires 1+ year MA experience, CPR certification, high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy and medication/vaccine administration experience; bilingual candidates eligible for a $3,000 bonus in 2026. Schedule is 40 hours/week; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, and other wellness programs. The role reports to Center Administrator of the float staff and supports CenterWell Senior Primary Care within Humana family.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
- Phlebotomy experience
- Medication/vaccine administration experience
- 1+ years MA experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Patient-facing and TB screening experience
