Float Medical Assistant - Neurology

Job Summary
Intake patients with mobility limitations, balance concerns, cognitive impairment, or tremors. Review and reconcile neurology medications, prepare patients for testing, and assist providers with injections and other procedures within scope. Provide patient education, maintain clean exam rooms, and monitor In Box and PAQ systems. Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling while returning calls per SOP. Requires MA education program completion, BLS certification, and willingness to travel to Mt. Orab, Wilmington, Washington Court House, and Loveland offices. HealthSource of Ohio is a not-for-profit community health center providing patient-centered primary and preventative care in Southwestern Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a MA education program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Active BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification
